2. Description of the Service
Inquinion is an AI-powered tutoring and study platform designed for engineering and STEM students. The Service provides document-grounded slide retrieval, first-principles Socratic coaching, automated study roadmaps, and proactive exam nudges.
3. Student Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By accessing Inquinion, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.
4. User Accounts & Security
4.1 Account Responsibility
- You must provide accurate account information during registration
- You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials
- You are responsible for all learning activities that occur under your account
4.2 Account Suspension
- We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these Terms or disrupt platform integrity
5. Permitted Use & Academic Integrity
Inquinion is designed to promote genuine conceptual understanding. You agree NOT to:
- Attempt to bypass testing or grading systems in violation of your institution's honor code
- Transmit malicious software, scripts, or automated scraping bots
- Interfere with or degrade the operational performance of the Service
- Reverse engineer or extract the underlying model weights and proprietary prompts
- Upload content that infringes upon intellectual property or privacy rights of third parties
6. Intellectual Property & Uploaded Material
6.1 Platform Rights
- The Inquinion platform, interfaces, branding, and tutoring logic are owned exclusively by Inquinion Labs and protected under copyright and international intellectual property laws.
6.2 Student Uploads
- You retain ownership of documents, lecture notes, and slide decks uploaded to your workspace.
- By uploading documents, you grant Inquinion a limited license to process and index the material solely to provide tutoring and citations within your account.
7. Warranty Disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WHILE INQUINION STRIVES FOR PEDAGOGICAL ACCURACY AND SLIDE GROUNDING, WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT ALL RESPONSES ARE ENTIRELY FREE OF INACCURACIES.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INQUINION LABS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
